Workspace Technology integrates the latest generation of Multi-Denco and Ultra-Denco perimeter Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) technology.

Through good practice, next generation low energy CRAC units, we can deliver an excellent PUE performance (sub 1.25). Typically, new builds are designed especially to support the maximum efficiency of airflow. Examples of good design include the forming of ‘hot corridors’ which provide a direct link with hot aisles helping simplify airflow arrangements. When combined with aisle containment, underfloor air barriers, blanking panels and N+1 arrangements perimeter computer room cooling will hold its ground well against ‘directly coupled’ alternative cooling technology.

Direct Exchange (DX) CRAC- Workspace Technology integrates Multi-Denco A-Version, the UK’s leading next generation, Direct Exchange DX perimeter computer room cooling technology. FläktGroup's Multi-Denco down flow perimeter Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units have revolutionised the efficiency levels that a refrigeration-based system could achieve. The Multi-Denco A Version supports cooling capacities ranging from 9.6kW to 119kW and offer high energy efficiency precise cooling, heating, humidifying and dehumidifying options.

Combi Cool CRAC (DX & CW) - The Multi-Denco F-Version also known as Combi Cool unit includes a water based Freecool® circuit, which can be utilised every day of the year. This allows for the direct expansion circuit to be reserved until it is required to top up the Freecool® circuit. FläktGroup’s Multi-Denco F-Version perimeter Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units support cooling capacities ranging from 9.6kW to 119kW and also offer high energy efficiency precise cooling, heating, humidifying and dehumidifying options.

Ultra-Denco Chilled Water (CW) CRAC- FläktGroup’s Ultra-Denco® full function close control Chilled Water perimeter computer room cooling systems deliver exceptional energy performance when combined with Freecool® technology. The Ultra-Denco CRAC reduces static, regains losses and saves up to 61 percent of power consumption when compared to a conventional chilled water system by repositioning the fan into the raised floor. When combined with larger filter surface areas and high-performance cooling coil the Ultra Denco delivers exceptional energy performance.
