Planned Preventative Evaporative Air Conditioning Maintenance
All Planned Preventative Evaporative Air Conditioning Maintenance is performed by competent and fully trained engineers. PPMs should be carried out throughout the life of the facility, helping identify worn or out of date parts, enabling pre-emptive replacement to take place prior to component failure.
Regular PPM Evaporative Air Conditioning Service will ensure A/C equipment is operating correctly with up to date firmware helping avoid unscheduled breakdowns and associated downtime.
Our Planned Preventative Evaporative Air Conditioning Service is undertaken according to manufacturer’s recommendations or legislation and will vary between equipment types. Where appropriate or included within the contract schedule consumables will also be replaced.

Evaporative Air Conditioning Maintenance Frequency
It is recommended that an evaporative cooler is regularly maintained. The frequency of maintenance is dependent upon the quality of water, the cleanliness of the air and the frequency of use. In normal conditions a 6-monthly service will maintain the reliability, efficiency and hygienic operation of the cooler. Workspace Technology recommends quarterly service visits when installed within a critical space such as server room or data centre environments.
Evaporative Air Conditioning Maintenance PPM Service Inclusions
Evaporative Air Conditioning Maintenance inspections will involve testing, inspection, adjustment, cleaning and lubrication as appropriate for all keys systems including but not limited to:
- Main Cooler Unit, filters and surfaces.
- Filter pads, insect screens.
- Internal pumps and motors.
In addition, the service engineer will:
- Check all fans, dampers and actuator systems to ensure integrity and security of all fittings.
- Check all controls wiring.
- Inspect control system for correct operation.
- Check all remote communication.
- Run test sequence to ensure correct operation of system.
