Prefabricated Building Delivery, Hook-up & Site Acceptance
Once Factory Acceptance Testing has been completed Workspace Technology can offer a complete contract delivery including cranage, I.T, power, & mechanical service connections to site infrastructure assuming site preparation works have been performed. Once in its final position and connection made a final Acceptance Test will be performed prior to handover to the client.
Workspace Technology will undertake site surveys to establish site conditions and arrange for a flatbed delivery along with arrangements for specialist contract crane lift to ensure the Prefabricated housing is safely positioned on the concrete slab, pillars or steel support structure. Our experienced Site Team will be in attendance during these operations to ensure the Technical Prefab building is correctly orientated and aligned with services.
On Site ‘Hook-up’
Once positioned Workspace Technology Site Team can get to work making final connections for generator systems, power cables, fibre / copper links and where appropriate mechanical services such as chilled water and cold water feeds.
Site Acceptance Testing
The extent of Site Acceptance Testing will be dependent on what tests are practical to perform within the factory. Where Mobile Data Centres, Telecoms Cabins or Power Housings are “All In One” self-contained units SAT testing is generally limited to final power tests and a series of inspections. Where the operation of the Technical Prefab Building is reliant on connections to extensive site services such as condensers or chilled water systems testing regimes will be more complex involving a series of Sub-system Testing, and Site Acceptance Testing that will typically involve load banks / server simulators performed over a number of days to ensure systems perform in line with the design criteria.
